The plug-in designed for MS Outlook (ver 2000 / XP) allows a registered user to send SMS. The SMS communication part is implemented by the client with HTTP or SMTP protocol.

User Interface & Process

• The plug-in installs SMS button in Outlook Toolbar for sending an SMS message.
• A folder for sent SMS messages will be created.
• In the Options menu of MS Outlook a new property sheet gets added for configuring SMS parameters - username & password.
• A custom view, for composing messages and allowing only simple text entry and using for the destination addresses the Mobile Number of the contacts.
